A heart of stone that I've been named
as I sprint away from disapproval
A beast in cage that won't be tamed
Alterations for their approval

Eventhough tears are sought
and willingly I am alone
Terror spreads of being caught
Only seeking comfort of a home

If I were to change my attitude
and forced into a cage
Will this bring me gratitude
or fire off my delayed rage

Eyes that drown and oh so wet
